Songs shaped by fog, basalt and the long northern light.
Lytara is the electronic project of composer and producer Egor Kashuro. It began as a folder of sketches recorded during long sleepless nights: slow synth swells, field recordings of wind and water, a drum machine kept just below the surface. Over time the sketches turned into songs. Some stayed instrumental; others found a voice.
The music lives between two temperatures. On one side, cold analogue textures, glacial pads and the patient pulse of techno. On the other, human warmth: a fragile vocal line, a piano left out in the rain. It is melancholic without being heavy, made for headphones, night trains and the hour before sunrise.
Live, Lytara is a solo act built on hardware synthesizers, a small modular case and film projected behind the stage. Video is the project’s second language: every release arrives with a film shot in fog, on black sand or under the aurora.
